حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالُوا: ثنا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: «كَانَ كَوْنٌ فِي الْأَنْصَارِ، فَأَتَاهُمُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيُصْلِحَ بَيْنَهُمْ، وَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ، فَصَلَّى خَلْفَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ»
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Some matter arose among the Ansar, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to them to make peace between them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came at a time when Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was leading the people in prayer, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed behind Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him)."
