Fudayl bin Sulayman al-Numayri from Abu Hazim
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 5931 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Indeed
اُردوEn
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، فِيمَا يَبْدُو لِلنَّاسِ، وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، فِيمَا يَبْدُو لِلنَّاسِ، وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ»
By the same chain it is narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, a man does the deeds of the people of Paradise as it appears to people, while he is in fact one of the people of the Fire; and indeed, a man does the deeds of the people of the Fire as it appears to people, while he is in fact one of the people of Paradise."
