حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمُهَيْمِنِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: «دُعِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى وَلِيمَةِ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، فَقُمْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ دُعِيَ، فَأَطْعَمَنَا خُبْزًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ، ثُمَّ إِنَّ الْخَادِمَ الَّتِي تُطْعِمُنَا الطَّعَامَ، وتَسْقِينَا الشَّرَابَ لَلْعَرُوسُ الَّتِي بِهَا»
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was invited to the wedding feast (walimah) of a man from the Ansar, and we went with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he was invited. He fed us barley bread. And the servant who was serving us the food and giving us drink was the bride of that house herself."
