حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَبِيبٍ يَحْيَى بْنُ نَافِعٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، قَالَا: ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي هِلَالٍ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ نُسَيٍّ، عَنْ أَوْسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، ثُمَّ غَدَا، أَوْ رَاحَ، أَوِ ابْتَكَرَ، ثُمَّ دَنَا وَأَنْصَتَ وَاسْتَمَعَ، كَانَ لَهُ بِقَدْرِ كُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا كَأَجْرِ قِيَامِ سَنَةٍ، وَصِيَامِ سَنَةٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever on Friday has (his wife) take a ritual bath (ghusl) and takes a bath himself, then goes early, or in the afternoon, or at the start of its time, then draws near and listens silently and attentively, for every step he takes he will have a reward equal to a year of standing in prayer and a year of fasting."
