Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 581 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ، وَعُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ثنا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي حَسَّانُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَوْسُ بْنُ أَوْسٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، ثُمَّ بَكَّرَ وَابْتَكَرَ، وَمَشَى وَلَمْ يَرْكَبْ، وَدَنَا وَاسْتَمَعَ، وَلَمْ يَلْغُ، كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا عَمَلُ سَنَةٍ، صِيَامُهَا وَقِيَامُهَا»
Sayyiduna Aws bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever on Friday has (his wife) take a ritual bath (ghusl) and takes a bath himself, then goes early and goes at the start of its time, and walks and does not ride, and draws near and listens attentively and does not engage in idle talk, for every step he takes he will have the reward of a year of fasting and standing in prayer."
