حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَبَكَّرَ وَابْتَكَرَ، وَدَنَا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ فَأَنْصَتَ، كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا، صِيَامُ سَنَةٍ وَقِيَامُهَا، وَذَلِكَ عَلَى اللهِ يَسِيرٌ»
Sayyiduna Aws bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever on Friday has (his wife) take a ritual bath (ghusl) and takes a bath himself, goes early (to the prayer) and goes at the start of its time, and draws near to the imam and listens silently (to the sermon), for every step he takes he will have (the reward of) a year of fasting and standing in prayer, and that is easy for Allah."
