حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِشَرَابٍ فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ، وَعَنْ يَمِينِهِ غُلَامٌ، وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ الْأَشْيَاخُ، فَقَالَ لِلْغُلَامِ: «أَتَأْذَنُ أَنْ أُعْطِيَ هَؤُلَاءِ؟» ، قَالَ الْغُلَامُ: وَاللهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَا أُوثِرُ بِنَصِيبِي مِنْكَ أَحَدًا، فَتَلَّهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي يَدِهِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd al-Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) that a drink was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) drank from it. On his (peace and blessings be upon him) right was a boy, and on his left were elderly men. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the boy: "Do you permit me to give this to the elders?" The boy said: By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, I will not give preference to anyone over my share from you. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) placed the vessel in his hand.
