حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الْحَارِثِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمُهَيْمِنِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، «أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانُوا يَأْتُونَ الْعَالِيَةَ، فَيُدْرِكُونَ الْمَغْرِبَ عِنْدَ مِرْبَدِ النَّعَمِ، فَيَتَيَمَّمُونَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would go to al-Awali, and the time of Maghrib would come upon them near Mirbad al-Na'am, so they would perform tayammum (dry ablution).
