Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 5344 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ: «قُمْ عَلَى صَدَقَةِ بَنِي فُلَانٍ، وَانْظُرْ لَا تَأْتِيَنَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِبَكْرٍ تَحْمِلُهُ عَلَى عُنُقِكَ أَوْ كَاهِلِكَ لَهُ رُغَاءٌ» ، قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، اصْرِفْهَا عَنِّي، فَصَرَفَهَا عَنْهُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Take charge of the zakah of such-and-such a tribe, and take care that you do not come on the Day of Resurrection carrying on your neck or shoulder a young camel that is groaning." He said: O Messenger of Allah! Relieve me of this responsibility. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) relieved him of that responsibility.
