حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ هَارُونَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُسَيِّبِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُلَيْحٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ مِنَ النَّبِيتِ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ، سَعْدُ بْنُ مُعَاذِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ امْرِئِ الْقَيْسِ»
Ibn Shihab relates that among the Ansar who took part in Badr, of Banu al-Nabit, then of Banu Abd al-Ashhal, is the name of Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Mu'adh bin al-Nu'man bin Imru' al-Qays (may Allah be pleased with him).
