حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ الرِّفَاعِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، مَوْلَى التَّوْأَمَةِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، قَالَ: «كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَغْرِبَ ثُمَّ نَنْصَرِفُ حَتَّى نَأْتِيَ السُّوقَ وَإِنَّهُ لِيُرَى مَوْقِعُ نَبْلِهِ»
Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We used to pray the Maghrib prayer with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), then we would go back and reach the market, and one could still see where an arrow landed.
