باب في تجاوز الله لعبده المؤمن بصلاة المسلمين عليه، وعفوه عنه فيما بينه وبينه
Chapter: Allah overlooking the sins of His believing servant because of the Muslims' funeral prayer over him, and pardoning him in what is between Him and him
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 500 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Any man over whom

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ، ثنا خَلَفُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، ثنا مُبَشِّرُ عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ مِائَةٌ إِلَّا غُفِرَ لَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any man over whom a hundred people offer the funeral prayer is forgiven."
