Talhah bin Yazid Abu Hamzah, the freed slave of Qarazah al-Ansari, from Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الشَّعْثَاءِ، ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ، مَوْلَى قَرَظَةَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فِي غَزَاةٍ، فَقَالَ: «مَا أَنْتُمْ جُزْءٌ مِنْ مِائَةِ أَلْفِ جُزْءٍ مِمَّنْ يَرِدُ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» قَالُوا لِزَيْدٍ: كَمْ أَنْتُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ؟ قَالَ: «مَا بَيْنَ الثَّمَانِ مِائَةٍ إِلَى السَّبْعِمِائَةٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on a journey during a military expedition when he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You are not even one part out of a hundred thousand parts of those who will come to me at the Pond (al-Hawd) on the Day of Resurrection." People asked Zayd: "How many were you that day?" He said: "Between seven hundred and eight hundred."
