حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، قَالَ: قَدِمَ زَيْدُ بْنُ أَرْقَمَ، وَكَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَسْتَذْكِرُهُ: كَيْفَ أَخْبَرَتْنِي عَنْ لَحْمٍ أُهْدِيَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَرَامًا، فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ، أُهْدِيَ لَهُ عُضْوٌ مِنْ لَحْمِ صَيْدٍ فَرَدَّهُ عَلَيْهِ، وَقَالَ: «إِنَّا لَا نَأْكُلُهُ إِنَّا حُرُمٌ»
Tawus (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates: Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) came, and Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) began asking him, to remind himself: "What did you tell me about the meat that was gifted to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was in the state of ihram?" He said: "Yes, a piece of game meat was gifted to him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) returned it and said: 'We do not eat it; we are in ihram.'"
