باب ما جاء في لزوم الجماعة، والنهي عن مفارقتها وغير ذلك
Chapter: Reports on holding fast to the jama'ah and the prohibition of leaving it, and other matters
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 491 — with the same chain; he said: I heard
اُردوEn
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا وَمَعَهُ شَيْطَانٌ» قُلْنَا: وَأَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: «وَأَنَا، إِلَّا أَنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَعَانَنِي عَلَيْهِ فَأَسْلَمَ»
It is narrated with the same chain; he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "There is not one of you but that a devil is assigned to him." We said: O Messenger of Allah, and with you too? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And with me too, but Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, helped me against him, so he became Muslim."
