Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4885 — he said: I had heard a verse

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُجَمِّعٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ السَّبَّاقِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: «سَمِعْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ آيَةً وطَلَبْتُها فَلَمْ أَجِدْهَا حَتَّى وَجَدْتُهَا مَعَ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ» {لَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مِنْ أَنْفُسِكُمْ} [التوبة: ١٢٨] الْآيَةَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I had heard a verse from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); then I searched for it and could not find it, until I found it with a man of the Ansar: "There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves" [Surah al-Tawbah: 128].
