حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمَسَاحِقِيُّ، ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَسَمَ لِلْفَرَسِ سَهْمَيْنِ وَلِلرَّجُلِ سَهْمًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) allotted from the spoils of war two shares for the horse and one share for the rider.
