حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي الزُّبَيْدِيُّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ فِي بَيْعِ الْعَرَايَا كَيْلًا بِخَرْصِهَا مِنَ التَّمْرِ الْيَابِسِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted selling araya by measure, according to their estimated amount, for dried dates.
