It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: When I was a boy in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), one day the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Come, let us go to a person whose affair we have seen." He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set off on foot with his Companions, until they entered a long lane between two walls, then reached a small door at the far end of the lane and entered a house. In the house they saw no one except one woman, and there was a large waterskin full of water. The people said: We see the waterskin but we do not see the one who carries it; ask the woman. She pointed to a velvet cloth in a corner of the house and said: Look under the cloth. The people lifted the cloth, and beneath it a person was lying. He raised his head, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "May the face be disfigured." He said: O Muhammad, why are you so harsh with me? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "I have hidden something for you; tell me what it is." And he said to the Companions: "I have hidden Surah al-Dukhan for him." He said: Dukh. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Be gone! What Allah willed has come to pass." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) went back.
