Abu Salamah bin Abd al-Rahman (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated that he heard Sayyiduna Rabi'ah bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) say: I spent the night by the door of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and I heard him (peace and blessings be upon him) saying, when he (peace and blessings be upon him) stood at night: "Subhana Rabbil-'alamin (Glory be to the Lord of the worlds)" for a long time, then he would say: "Subhana Rabbi wa bihamdih (Glory be to my Lord and praise be to Him)" for a long time.
