حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ: خَرَجْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى السُّوقِ فَقَالَ: «يَا مَعْشَرَ التُّجَّارِ» فَرَفَعَ إِلَيْهِ التُّجَّارُ أَبْصَارَهُمْ وَاسْتَجَابُوا لَهُ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ التُّجَّارَ يُبْعَثُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فُجَّارًا إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّقَى وَبَرَّ وَصَدَقَ»
Sayyiduna Rifa'ah bin Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I went out with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to the market, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O assembly of merchants!" The merchants raised their eyes towards him (peace and blessings be upon him) and responded to him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, merchants will be raised on the Day of Resurrection as wrongdoers, except the one who fears Allah, acts righteously and speaks the truth."
