حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِي صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رِفَاعَةُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ بَدْرِيٌّ، مِنْ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ»
Muhammad bin Ubaydullah bin Abi Rafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father, regarding the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) who took part (in battles) with Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "Rifa'ah bin Rafi', a Badri Companion, from Banu Zurayq."
