حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، أَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ: «كَانَ أَبْعَدُ النَّاسِ مَنْزِلًا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلَيْنِ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، أَبُو لُبَابَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُنْذِرِ وَمَنْزِلُهُ بِقُبَاءَ، وَأَبُو يَحْيَى فِي بَنِي حَارِثَةَ، وَكَانَ يُصَلِّيَانِ مَعَهُ الْعَصْرَ، ثُمَّ يَأْتِيَانِ قَوْمَهُمَا وَلَمْ يُصَلُّوا؛ لِتَبْكِيرِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْعَصْرِ»
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The people who lived farthest from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) were two men of the Ansar: Abu Lubabah bin Abd al-Mundhir, whose home was in Quba, and Abu Yahya, who lived among Banu Harithah. The two of them would pray Asr with him (peace and blessings be upon him), then go to their people, and they would not yet have prayed, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray Asr early.
