حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ، ثنا جُوَيْرِيَةُ بْنُ أَسْمَاءَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ الْجِنَّانِ الَّتِي تَكُونُ فِي الْبُيُوتِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Lubabah (may Allah be pleased with him) informed Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade killing the snakes that live in houses.
