Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4451 — Amr bin Hayyan al-Ta'i

Amr bin Hayyan al-Ta'i (may Allah have mercy on him) relates: Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Umayrah al-Sinbisi (may Allah be pleased with him) used to give the morning meal to the people of three mosques and give them 'qurtumah' - meaning hays (a dish made by mixing dates, ghee and dried curd) - to drink, although he had only one shirt, which served him both at home and for the Friday prayer.
