حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلَالٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ الزُّرَقِيِّ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ، قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ يَوْمًا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعِنْدَهُمْ قِدْرٌ تَفُورُ لَحْمًا، فَأَعْجَبَتْنِي شَحْمَةٌ فَأَخَذْتُهَا فَازْدَرَتُّهَا، فَاشْتَكَيْتُ عَلَيْهَا سَنَةً، ثُمَّ إِنِّي ذَكَرْتُهُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّهُ كَانَ فِيهَا نَفْسُ سَبْعَةِ أَنَاسِيَّ» ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بَطْنِي فَأَلْقَيْتُهَا خَضْرَاءَ فَوَالَّذِي بَعَثَهُ بِالْحَقِّ مَا اشْتَكَيْتُ بَطْنِي حَتَّى السَّاعَةِ
Ubayd bin Rifa'ah al-Zuraqi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: One day I went in to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and with them was a pot boiling with meat. A piece of fat appealed to me, so I took it and swallowed it, and I was ill because of it for a year. Then I mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There was the life of seven human beings in it." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed his hand over my stomach, and I vomited it out green. By the One who sent him (peace and blessings be upon him) with the truth, from then until this very hour my stomach has never troubled me.
