حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ، ثنا جُوَيْرِيَةُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ رَافِعَ بْنَ خَدِيجٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ، حَدَّثَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ كَرْيِ الْمَزَارِعِ»
Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) told Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade renting out farmland.
