Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 424 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Sayyiduna

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثنا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ رَوَاحَةَ، وَأُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ دَارَ حَمَلٍ هُوَ وَبِلَالٌ، فَخَرَجَ إِلَيْهِمَا بِلَالٌ فَأَخْبَرَهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Rawahah and Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) entered the house of Hamal. Then Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) came out to the two of them (Abdullah bin Rawahah and Usamah) and informed them that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had performed ablution (wudu) and wiped over his leather socks.
