حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ مِنْ بَنِي بَيَاضَةَ بَدْرِيٌّ»
It is reported from Ubaydullah bin Abi Rafi' (may Allah have mercy on him), in the listing of the names of the Ansar who took part (in the battles) with Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): From Banu Bayadah, Khalifah bin Adi (may Allah be pleased with him), who was one of the people of Badr.
