Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4146 — the Prophet ﷺ said: What a fine young man

حَدَّثَنَا حَاجِبُ بْنُ أركينَ الْفَرْغَانِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُفَضَّلٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَيْمَنَ بْنِ خُرَيْمِ بْنِ فَاتِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نِعْمَ الْفَتَى خُرَيْمٌ لَوْ قَصَّرَ مِنْ شَعْرِهِ، وَرَفَعَ مِنْ إِزَارِهِ» ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ خُرَيْمٌ: لَا يُجَاوِزُ شَعْرِي أُذُنِي، وَلَا إِزَارِي عَقِبِي
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuraym bin Fatik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What a fine young man Khuraym is, if only he would shorten his hair and raise his lower garment." The narrator says: At this Khuraym (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "(From now on) my hair will not go beyond my ears, nor will my lower garment go beyond my heels."
