خريم بن فاتك الأسدي يكنى أبا عبد الله
Khuraym bin Fatik al-Asadi (may Allah be pleased with him), Abu Abdullah
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4144 — he came to the Prophet ﷺ, and he ﷺ said

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ مَعْنٍ الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شِمْرِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ خُرَيْمِ بْنِ فَاتِكٍ أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «يَا خُرَيْمُ بْنُ فَاتِكٍ لَوْلَا خَصْلَتَانِ فِيكَ لَكُنْتَ أَنْتَ الرَّجُلَ» ، قَالَ: مَا هُمَا بِأَبِي أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ حَسْبِي وَاحِدَةٌ؟، قَالَ: «تَوْفِيرُ شَعْرِكَ، وَتَسْبِيلُ إِزَارِكَ» ، فَانْطَلَقَ خُرَيْمٌ فَجَزَ شَعْرَهُ، وَقَصَّرَ إِزَارَهُ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuraym bin Fatik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Khuraym bin Fatik! Were it not for two traits in you, you would truly be a (fine) man." He said: "May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, what are they? Is not one enough?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Letting your hair grow long and letting your lower garment hang down." The narrator says: So Khuraym (may Allah be pleased with him) went, cut his hair and raised his lower garment.
