It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuraym bin Fatik al-Asadi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "People are of four kinds and deeds are of six kinds: one who has ample means in both this world and the Hereafter; one who has ample means in this world and straitness in the Hereafter; one who has straitness in this world and straitness in the Hereafter as well; and one who has straitness in this world but ample means in the Hereafter. And deeds are six: two that make (something) obligatory, one that is like for like, one that is ten times its like, and one that is seven hundredfold. Whoever dies as a Muslim or a believer, not associating anything with Allah, will be admitted into Paradise; and whoever dies a disbeliever will be admitted into Hell. Whoever intends a good deed until he feels it in his heart, one good deed is written for him which is not multiplied; and whoever does an evil deed, only one evil deed is written against him and it is not multiplied. Whoever does a good deed, ten times its like is written for him; and whoever spends something in the way of Allah, seven hundredfold is written for him."
