Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 4134 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Whatever intoxicates
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَّابٌ الْعُصْفُرِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنِي صَالِحُ بْنُ خَوَّاتِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ خَوَّاتُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ، عن أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ خَوَّاتِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَا أَسْكَرَ كَثِيرُهُ فَقَلِيلُهُ حَرَامٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khawwat bin Jubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whatever intoxicates in a large quantity, even a small quantity of it is unlawful."
