حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الدِّمْيَاطِيُّ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْبَيْرُوتِيُّ، ثنا الْهِقْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سَوْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي شُعَيْبٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا تَغَوَّطَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَتَمَسَّحْ بِثَلَاثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ كَافِيهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you relieves himself, let him cleanse himself with three stones, for that is sufficient for him."
