Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 3994 — the Prophet ﷺ said: When one of you

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، أَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا عَطَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَقُلْ: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ، وَلْيَقُلِ الَّذِي يَسْمَعُهُ: يَرْحَمُكَ اللهُ وَيَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ يَهْدِيكَ اللهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكَ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you sneezes, let him say: 'Alhamdu lillahi 'ala kulli hal' (Praise be to Allah in every state); and let the one who hears him say: 'Yarhamukallah' (May Allah have mercy on you); and let the one who sneezed reply: 'Yahdikumullahu wa yuslihu balakum' (May Allah guide you and set your affairs right)."
