Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 3910 — a man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: حَدِّثْنِي بِعَمَلٍ يُدْخِلُنِي الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ الْقَوْمُ: مَالَهُ مَالَهُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَرَبٌ مَالَهُ، تَعْبُدُ اللهَ لَا تُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا، وَتُقِيمُ الصَّلَاةَ، وَتُؤْتِي الزَّكَاةَ، وَتَصِلُ الرَّحِمَ، ذَرْهَا عَنْكَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: Tell me of a deed that will admit me into Paradise. The people said: What is the matter with him? What is the matter with him? So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He has a need. Worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him, establish the prayer, give zakah, and maintain the ties of kinship. Now let it (the mount) go."
