Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 3803 — A roasted lizard (dabb) was brought

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): A roasted lizard (dabb) was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) reached out his hand to eat it. One of those present said: O Messenger of Allah, it is the meat of a lizard. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) held back his hand. Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah, is it unlawful? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No, but it is not found in the land of my people, so I find that I have an aversion to it."
