Harithah bin Mudarrib (may Allah have mercy on him) said: We went to Sayyiduna Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) to visit him in his illness, and he had been cauterised in seven places on his stomach. He said: Had I not heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Do not wish for death," I would have wished for it.
