Sayyiduna Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: We complained to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was lying with his head resting on his cloak in the shade of the Ka'bah. We said: Will you not seek help for us? Will you not pray for us? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among those before you, a man would be seized and combed with iron combs (that tore) his flesh and bone, yet that would not turn him away from his religion. By Allah! This religion will certainly be completed, until a rider will travel from San'a to Hadramawt fearing none but Allah, except for the wolf for his sheep; but you are being hasty."
Sayyiduna Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: We came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was lying with his head resting on his cloak in the shade of the Ka'bah, and we complained to him (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: Will you not seek help for us? Will you not pray to Allah for us? The narrator said: He (peace and blessings be upon him) sat up, his complexion turned red, and then he said: "Among those before you, a man would be seized, a pit would be dug for him in the ground, then a saw would be brought and placed on his head, and he would be split into two pieces, yet that would not turn him away from his religion. By Allah! Allah will certainly complete this religion, until a rider will travel from San'a to Hadramawt fearing none but Allah, and the wolf for his sheep; but you are being hasty."
Sayyiduna Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: We went in to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was lying with his head resting on his cloak in the shade of the Ka'bah, and we said: Will you not pray for us? The narrator said: He (peace and blessings be upon him) sat up, his face turned red, and then he said: "Among those before you, a man would be seized, a pit would be dug for him in the ground, then a saw would be brought and placed on his head, yet that would not turn him away from his religion; and he would be combed with iron combs (tearing) the flesh and sinews beneath his bone, yet that would not turn him away from his religion. Allah will certainly complete this religion, until the rider will travel from San'a to Hadramawt fearing none but Allah, and the wolf for his sheep; but you are being hasty."
