حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الْغُدَانِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ثنا أَبُو يُونُسَ الْقُشَيْرِيُّ حَاتِمُ بْنُ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: كُنَّا قُعُودًا عَلَى بَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا فَقَالَ: «أَتَسْمَعُونَ؟» ، قُلْنَا: قَدْ سَمِعْنَا مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا، فَقَالَ: «إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ فَلَا تُصَدِّقُوهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ، وَلَا تُعِينُوهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ، فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ صَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَلَيْسَ يَرِدُ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ» .
Abdullah bin Khabbab (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated from his father: We were sitting at the door of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he (peace and blessings be upon him) came out to us and said: "Do you hear?" We said: We have heard it two or three times. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon there will be rulers over you; do not believe them in their lies, nor help them in their oppression, for whoever believes them in their lies and helps them in their oppression will not come to me at my Pond (al-Hawd)."
