حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَارُودِيُّ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ أَبُو سَهْلٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الصَّوَّافُ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْهَيْثَمِ خَلَفُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ النَّهْشَلِيُّ الْقَصَّارُ، حَدَّثَنَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الْأَغَرِّ النَّهْشَلِيُّ، ثنا عَمِّي زِيَادُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ أَنَّهُ حَمَلَ طَعَامًا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَلَقِيَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «مَاذَا تَحْمِلُ يَا أَعْرَابِيُّ؟» ، قَالَ: قَمْحًا، قَالَ: «مَا أَرَدْتَ بِهِ، أَوْ مَا تُرِيدُ بِهِ؟» ، قَالَ: أَرَدْتُ بَيْعَهُ فَمَسَحَ رَأْسِي وَقَالَ: «أَحْسِنُوا مُبَايَعَةَ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Husayn bin Qays (may Allah be pleased with him) that he brought food to Madinah and met the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "O Bedouin, what have you brought?" He said: Wheat. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "With what intention have you brought it?" He said: I want to sell it. The narrator said: He (peace and blessings be upon him) passed his hand over my head and said: "Deal well with the Bedouin in buying and selling."
