Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 3545 — he came to Madinah with camels and said

حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الْأَغَرِّ النَّهْشَلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ النَّهْشَلِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، أَنَّهُ قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ بِإِبِلٍ، فَقَالَ: «يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مُرْ أَهْلَ الْوَادِي أَنْ يُعِينُونِي ويُحْسِنُوا مُخَالَطَتِي فَأَمَرَهُمْ، فَقَامُوا مَعَهُ فَأَحْسَنُوا مُخَالَطَتَهُ ثُمَّ دَعَاهُ فَمَسَحَ يَدَهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ وَدَعَا لَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Husayn bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came to Madinah with camels and said: O Messenger of Allah, order the people of the valley to help me and to treat me well. He (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered them, so they stood by him and treated him well. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) called him, passed his hand over his face, and supplicated for him.
