It is narrated about Sayyiduna Habib bin Maslamah al-Fihri (may Allah be pleased with him), and his supplications used to be answered, that he was appointed commander of an army, and he crossed the mountain passes. When they met the enemy, he said to the people: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "No group gathers, with some of them supplicating and the rest saying Amin, except that Allah answers them." Then he praised Allah and extolled Him and said: O Allah, preserve our blood, and make our reward the reward of the martyrs. While they were in this state, the enemy's commander, "al-Hinbat", dismounted and entered Habib's tent.
Imam al-Tabarani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Al-Hinbat" in the Roman language means the commander of an army.
