حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ الصُّورِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْرُوقٍ الْكُوفِيُّ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جُمَيْعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»
Sayyiduna Sa'id bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is killed while protecting his property is a martyr."
