Sayyiduna Abu Malik al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I will certainly lead you in prayer the way the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed." So he called for water for ablution and performed ablution, then stood for the prayer. He lined up the men in a row and lined up the boys in a row behind them, then he kept saying the takbir when prostrating, when raising his head, and when standing up after two rak'ahs, then he gave the salam to his right and to his left.
Imam al-Tabarani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Abd al-Rahman bin Ghanm is not mentioned in this narration.
