Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 323 — he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ مُسَافِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «سِبَابُ الْمُسْلِمِ فُسُوقٌ وَقِتَالُهُ كُفْرٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Reviling a Muslim is wickedness (fusuq), and fighting him is disbelief."
