Harithah bin al-Numan al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), a veteran of Badr
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 3220 — I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: Giving
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ رُسْتَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمِ بْنِ مَرْزُوقٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مُنَاوَلَةُ الْمِسْكِينِ تَقِي مِيتَةَ السُّوءِ»
Sayyiduna Harithah bin al-Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Giving to the poor with one's own hand protects from an evil death."
