Al-Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Ziyad appointed Sayyiduna al-Hakam bin Amr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) as commander over an army. Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) met him in the governor's house between the two doors and said: Do you know why I have come to you? Do you not remember that when news reached the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) of the man whose commander had said to him: Get up and jump into the fire, and the man stood up to jump into it, but he was caught and held back, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Had he jumped into it, he would have entered Hellfire. There is no obedience in disobedience to Allah"? Al-Hakam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Of course. Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I only wanted to remind you of this hadith.
