حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، ثنا فُرَاتٌ الْقَزَّازُ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ وَاثِلَةَ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ الْغِفَارِيِّ، قَالَ: كُنَّا قُعُودًا نَتَحَدَّثُ فِي ظِلِّ غُرْفَةٍ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَذَكَرْنَا السَّاعَةَ، فَارْتَفَعَتْ أَصْوَاتُنَا، فَأَشْرَفَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ غُرْفَتِهِ، فَقَالَ: عَمَّ تَتَساءَلونَ؟ أَوْ عَمَّ تَتَحَدَّثُونَ؟ قُلْنَا: ذَكَرْنَا السَّاعَةَ، فَارْتَفَعَتْ أَصْوَاتُنَا. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَنْ تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ قَبْلَهَا عَشْرُ آيَاتٍ: طُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا، وَخُرُوجُ الدَّابَّةِ، وَخُرُوجُ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ، وَالدَّجَّالُ، وَعِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ، وَالدُّخَانُ، وَثَلَاثَةُ خُسُوفٍ: خَسْفٌ بِالْمَشْرِقِ، وَخَسْفٌ بِالْمَغْرِبِ، وَخَسْفٌ بِجَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ، وَآخِرُ ذَلِكَ نَارٌ تَخْرُجُ مِنَ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ قَعْرِ عَدَنَ تَسُوقُ النَّاسَ إِلَى الْمَحْشَرِ "
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah bin Asid al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We were sitting and talking in the shade of an upper room of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). We mentioned the Hour and our voices rose, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) looked down from his upper room and said: "What are you asking one another about?" or "What are you talking about?" We said: We were mentioning the Hour and our voices rose. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Hour will not be established until ten signs have come before it: the rising of the sun from the west, the emergence of the Beast of the Earth, the emergence of Ya'juj and Ma'juj, the Dajjal, Isa bin Maryam (peace be upon him), the Smoke, and three sinkings of the earth: in the east, in the west and in the Arabian Peninsula; and the last of them will be a fire that will come out of Yemen, from the depths of Aden, and drive the people towards the place of gathering."
