حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَنْبَرٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ التَّيْمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: " كَانَ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ مُعَلَّمًا بِرِيشَةِ نَعَامَةٍ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ: مَنْ رَجُلٌ أُعْلِمَ بِرِيشَةِ نَعَامَةٍ؟ فَقِيلَ: حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ. فَقَالَ: ذَاكَ الَّذِي فَعَلَ بِنَا الْفِعَلَ "
Musa bin al-Harith al-Taymi narrates from his father: On the day of Badr, Hamzah bin Abd al-Muttalib was marked with an ostrich feather. A man from the idolaters said: "Who is that man marked with an ostrich feather?" He was told: "Hamzah bin Abd al-Muttalib." He said: "That is the one who did to us what was done."
